Clay Aiken:

"We came for the Voice, we stay for the Man"

His smile warms hearts and breaks them.
His laughter brings joy to those who hear it.
His gentle teasing makes us laugh at ourselves.
His eyes share love and hide pain.
His heart cares for those others forget.
His stunning voice melts the coldest heart.
His name is Clay Aiken, and we have waited for him for a very long time…

********************

Ambassador and Gentleman

This is Clay Aiken, the man we adore
A man of integrity and so much more
A man with love bursting in his heart
The man we all saw right from the start.

His actions speak louder than words ever could
He does so much, more than most ever would
People who matter know this as true
He cares about people like me and you.

Some cannot understand why he's not playing the game
After all he should be like them because of his fame
But Clay Aiken is not one that would behave their way
They don't understand him but in the future they may.

There is only one lead that Clay Aiken will follow
And it's not anyone who is callous, mean or shallow
It is his God that leads the way
He will continue to follow come what may.

Clay is giving back in the best way he can
Nice hair styles and clothing don't make a man.
For the children of the world with much to endure,
When they knock him down he will rise once more.
